A sacred Lote tree located at the furthest limit of the seventh heaven. It marks the absolute boundary of creation, beyond which no created being can pass.
It is described as a tree of extraordinary scale and beauty, with leaves like the ears of elephants and fruits like great vessels. It is enveloped in divine light and surrounded by golden butterflies, colours and wonders beyond the limits of human perception, with four rivers flowing from its roots.
This work is an attempt to evoke that sense of the incomprehensible: a realm where earthly imagination meets the vastness of the divine
